10 Hours, 3 Stages, 14 Bands, Great Food & Market Stalls

Towradgi Beach Hotel, the Illawarra's premier live music venue presents....

a huge lineup of national and international Rock and Blues talent in a massive, one day musical extravaganza.

Featuring on this multi band bill will be the legendary Angry Anderson fronting The Junkyard Dogs, a rock & roll machine that features Dai Pritchard from Rose Tattoo. The boys will be fresh from their recent tour supporting Guns ‘N' Roses and are sure to be in sensational form. No-one rocks like Angry!

From Canada will be international blues act Wolf Mail. Wolf is constanly on tour around the world and brings his big, unique take on rock n blues to the event. His special guests will include young, rising blues guitarist from Victoria Stephen Bowtell along with Australia's premier blues guitarist Mal Eastick. Sparks are sure to fly as Wolf and Mal team up for this long awaited coming together of the two blues guitar masters.

The Darren Jack band. Previously the driving force behind the award-winning Australian blues power-trio Third Degree, Darren (Jacko) Jack now performs as The Darren Jack Band, an outfit that delivers a unique, smooth r&b/ soul style of blues that still incorporates the blistering guitar soloing Jacko has become renown for.

Steve Edmonds is without doubt one of this county's best and always puts on a sensational performance. The rhythm section of Rudy Miranda and Ian Lees is without peer and together these guys will turn it on, no doubt taking inspiration from the others in this world class lineup.

From Cuba comes blues guitarist Elmer Ferrer, known internationally for wowing crowds with his sophisticated blues rock that comes sprinkled with a healthy dose of Cuban jazz. Whether he's jamming at private parties in Havana with Sting or tearing up festival stages across North America, Elmer and his band will shock you with their ability to play music at the highest level. Viva la Cuba!

The Detonators from Victoria are the hardest working, most in demand, rockabilly/rock n roll band in the land. That's why they are on the festival bill, simple as that. As cool as a chopped ‘57 Chev with the power to match!

The Bluezone have been a phenomenon on the scene over the past two years and have advanced the blues to a new level with their exceptional musical ability, great original songs and fresh approach.

After just about scooping the pool at The Australian Blues Music Awards this was a band that could not be denied. Don't miss their first major appearance in the region.

The Mason Rack Band, hailing from the Gold Coast, have amassed a legion of fans with a unique sound that is both fresh and new whilst at the same time maintaining a subtle linage to the blues masters. Wicked, lap slide playing, a growling vocal style and heartfelt tales of life experience are trademarks of the Mason Rack sound.

The Blues Bombers play a ‘down to earth' brand of blues and rock n roll that's straight out of the mangrove swamps of Newcastle. Featuring great, boogie woogie style piano pumpin' from Josh Calloway and the ferocious guitar licks from Wollongong's own Dave Hooper, the Blues Bombers will blow your mind!

Marshall & The Fro are part of the new breed of artist bridging the divide between blues and roots.

Ben Harper inspired grooves with a Chili Peppers energy have given the band a huge following amongst the surf/alternative crowd, particularly in the Northern Rivers region of NSW. Sure to be one of the standout acts.

Ngariki are the festival's dark horse and could be one of the favourites at festival's end. A five piece, original blues and roots act from Newcastle that have just been signed to ABC records. The band features the awesome talents of Justin Ngariki. Remember, you heard it here first.
